The top 64 finishers after Tuesday’s second round will qualify for match play.

Oki, who finished third at a June qualifier at Mauna Lani and was originally an alternate, was 150th in the field of 156 after 18 holes. She is set to start her freshman year at Waiakea.

Oahu’s Allysha Mae Mateo, who took medalist honors at the qualifier, shot a 78 on Monday.

Hilo AYSO registration

Hilo AYSO is registering players for the fall season, which runs from August to November.

Players must be born between and 2002-2013.

Registration is online at www.hiloayso.org and for more information, call 959-1972.

AYSO is looking for adult volunteers to assist with lining fields, coaching and refereeing.

Kamehameha seeks coach

Kamehameha is accepting applications for a swimming coach.

Richardson swim Sunday

The 30th annual Richardson Roughwater Swim will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday at Richardson Ocean Park in Hilo.

The fee for the approximate 1-mile open-ocean swim is $40 and entries will be accepted until 7:30 a.m. the day of the race.

Participants may swim with or without fins.

No flotation devices, wet suits or hand gloves/paddles may be used.

UHH volleyball clinic ongoing

A final July volleyball clinic for boys and girls ages 12-18 will be held Sundays featuring UH-Hilo volleyball coach Gene Krieger and Poli Olevao-Kahapea, head coach and founder of A Mother’s Prayer Volleyball Club and a UH-Hilo alumnae. This clinic also will feature Tai Manu-Olevao, a former University of Hawaii standout outside hitter.

The fee is $40, with check-in at 12:30 p.m. and clinics running 1-4 p.m. at UH-Hilo gym.
